As the epidemic hopefully winds down I am planning for what’s next?. My wife and I both got our Pfizer shots, but we still and will continue to wear our masks and avoid groups. I have moved to a new smaller house with no pool or yard and most maintenance included. I will be having my 89 th birthday next week and plan to continue on as before. In the next month my friend Bill is going to help me organize the the over 100 unrestored pond boats I have accumulated over many years. We will organize them as to manufacture, size and propulsion. Some of the larger boats ( over 36″) have already gone to Jacksonville as Bill is involved with several sailing clubs and there is some interest. His latest project is restoring my 1880 steam driven model of J P Morgan’s Corsair that was found years ago on Martha’s Vineyard. When we do the inventory I will photo boats so if you have a desire to get involved now is the time. I will be posting a number of articles I have collected over the years that I have scanned in JPEG. The first one is here and it is about a simplified steering method for pond boats.
